Application of angle displacement sensor

It is suitable for the servo system of automobile, construction machinery, cosmic equipment, missile, aircraft radar antenna, injection molding machine, woodworking machinery, printing machine, electronic ruler, robot, engineering monitoring, computer-controlled motion equipment and other occasions where accurate displacement measurement is needed.


The angle sensor can be divided into two types: wire-wound angle sensor and non-wire-wound angle sensor.


The wire winding sensor is a resistance element wound around metal, ceramic and plastic skeletons. Advantages: low resistance temperature coefficient, good resistance value, high power load and long working life. Disadvantages: resolution has a certain degree of ladder, total resistance range is narrow, high frequency performance is poor.


Nonlinear winding angle sensor includes synthetic film angle sensor, glaze angle sensor, conductive plastic angle sensor and so on.


(1) Synthetic film angle sensor is a kind of resistor made by mixing carbon black, graphite, organic binder, filler and so on. Advantages: large-scale production, low price, low noise adjustment, superior high-frequency performance, but also has a small inductance and distribution capacity, and long working life, rarely sudden serious damage, a wide range of total resistance.


(2) Glass glaze angle sensor is a mixture of metal (or oxide) powder, glass glaze and other slurry using wire mesh.


The resistors are coated on the ceramic substrate by printing, drying and sintering. Advantages: The total resistance has a wide range, high resolution and good stability, low noise, very good frequency response, far more than 100 MHz. The resistance temperature coefficient is small, the resistance element surface is hard and wearable, and the service life is long.


(3) Conductive plastic angle sensor is a kind of resistor which is made up of carbon black, graphite and ultra-fine metal powder, DAP resin and cross-linking agent by screen printing and other methods. Advantages: The contact resistance changes little, and the working life is long; the surface is smooth, and the resolution is very high; even if the moving contact moves millions of times on the resistance body, there will be no obvious friction and wear. The resistance element can be modified to achieve a linearity of 0.1%. The dynamic noise is very small, and has good high frequency performance. It is suitable for high gain servo system. Disadvantages: poor humidity resistance, stability is not as good as glaze angle sensor, dynamic contact rated current is small, temperature coefficient between wire-wound angle sensor and glaze angle sensor.
